Grasshopper 3D | Delaunay mesh
In this video, I am demonstrating how to generate Delaunay mesh from a brep surface. As an example, I created a polyline curve and revolved it around the Z axis. As a result, the generated "bowl" shape brep was employed for Delaunay mesh generation.

    How about a FLAT surface? Hpw about SPECIFYING the properties of the surface needed, since it seems impossible to get a surface this actually works on. Rhino is a bloated mess.

    Great work there 🙏🙏 i have a qst am working somthing like that and i need to set random 3d points (from 100 to 300 points) and i need to have the same distance between all points but i couldnt find a way to do it so is there any solution for that? How can i control the wall thikness between the voronoi cells i want it to be all the same thikness?

    Hello. Great tutorial. When I run the Sweep2 command, several surfaces are created. When I use the command to create the UV curve only a piece of the area is selected which prevents me from positioning the text correctly. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Rhino 7. Thanks.

      You can replicate the script in Grasshopper by connecting nodes as shown in the video. Let me know if that helps

    obviously replace the motor. the gears inside of it have bad teeth. Mine did the same thing after the x stop switch broke so after the print finished it homed and smashed into the right side. I woke up to printer going Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. bad brrrrrrrrrrr

      I assume you bake and delete. but maybe create a surface with a hole, within which the random array is restricted to?? IDK

      Yes you can cull all objects that are inside let's say a sphere with a variable diameter. The node "inside BREP" might help

      Thank you for your interest and the question. I would recommend trying new features on Rhino 7 WIP. Try to mesh a trimmed NURBS surface in GH as follows: NURBS -> Triangular Mesh ->QuadRemesh. It should work as you want to.

    I downloaded MeshEdit to get the Explode Mesh tool and followed the install instructions but they are not appearing under the Mesh tab. Any advice?

      Did you unblock the files? Right - click properties - > unblock ->apply. Otherwise drag and drop all files to grasshopper canvas. Best of luck 😊
